Work in education? Join us to discuss good practice when talking with children and young people about antiracism and combating societal prejudice.

Reflecting on your own career and life, we’ll consider times when you’ve had to confront difficult and challenging conversations with students and colleagues.

A collaboration with New Bewerley Community School and The World Reimagined, this event will focus on sharing real experiences of working with pupils in schools, as a starting point for tackling racial injustice in education and wider society.

Black History Month at The Tetley

This October, we’re also inviting schools to join us for tours of our current exhibitions, ROOT-ed Zine: Retrospect, Reality, Reform and Hibiscus Rising: Creating a memorial for David Oluwale with Yinka Shonibare CBE.

To arrange a tour, please email Jack James, Participation & Engagement Curator jack.james@thetetley.org.
