The Tetley is pleased to announce that as of 26 October 2016, as part of our new gallery opening times, our galleries will be open late every Wednesday evening until 8pm.

With special events, talks or simply an opportunity to explore the gallery spaces, The Tetley is the perfect place to meet up with friends and turn your Wednesday evening into a cultural date night.

Join The Tetley’s curator & co-curators of the PAGES 20th Anniversary Show to discuss the current exhibitions.
Free, all welcome.

There will also be a FREE taster workshop of Meantime beer in The Tetley’s Bar & Kitchen from 6pm.

Andy Holden: Laws of Motion in a Cartoon Landscape

This new one-hour performance is the culmination of five years of idiosyncratic research and public lectures exploring the possibility of using the Laws of Motion as they appear in cartoons. It presents a theory that the world is now a cartoon, and explores how an artist might operate in a landscape in which everything has been done, everything is equally possible, yet certain things endlessly reoccur.
