SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES AND GROUP VISITS

The Tetley is a centre for contemporary art and learning and the ideal place for students and others to further develop their knowledge and skills.

Artist-led workshop sessions
The Tetley offers a range of artist-led workshop sessions specially designed for school and college students. These are suitable for students across a range of ages and abilities, cover a variety of artistic mediums and have many links that support learning in relation to the National Curriculum.

To book a session, please download and fill in the Session Booking form from here and return it to the Participation Organiser, Becca Hoy at rebecca.hoy@thetetley.org

These sessions can be used as part of study for Arts Award. A 10% discount is available to Artsmark registered schools.

We recommend you try and book at least three weeks in advance of when you would like have the session to avoid disappointment.These sessions incur a cost, with further details on each session outline.
Many of these sessions are also suitable for other youth and community groups. Bespoke artist-led sessions can also sometimes be developed responding to your own themes and ideas.

Self-led Group Visits
The Tetley welcomes self-led visits from schools, colleges, universities, community groups and other organisations. However, group leaders are asked to contact our Participation Organiser, Becca Hoy on 0113 320 2321 to give us advance notice of your visit. It is important to us that you have a successful and enjoyable visit and with prior knowledge we may be able to support and enhance your experience at The Tetley.

Group Tours
Introductions to The Tetley, tours of our building and current exhibitions for schools, colleges, universities, community groups and other organisations can be arranged with advanced notice. These can sometimes be tailored to the interests of your group. Group leaders are asked to contact our Participation Organiser, Becca Hoy at rebecca.hoy@thetetley.org, at least two weeks in advance to discuss your requirements.
