Role: Press & Marketing Coordinator
Salary: £15,000 to £18,000 per annum, dependent on experience

The Tetley is a fast-growing, centre for contemporary art and is seeking to appoint a dynamic person to the new position of Marketing & Press Coordinator. The post holder will be joining at an exciting point in the organisation’s life and play a major role in communicating all of The Tetley’s activities to the widest possible audiences.

The main purpose of the role is to deliver and evaluate marketing and press activities for The Tetley to:

• Increase awareness of the venue locally, regionally and nationally
• Increase awareness of the artistic programme and commercial offer
• Drive footfall and increase earned income
• Deliver a cohesive brand

Role: Artist for Kirkstall Public Art Commission
Total project budget: £44,000

The Tetley is working in partnership with Leeds City Council to commission a new public artwork in the community of Kirkstall. It will be sited on an area of landscaping in front of the Kirkstall Leisure Centre at the crossroads between Abbey Lane, Kirkstall Lane, Bridge Road and Kirkstall Road. We wish to appoint a contemporary artist or artists as the principal lead on the commission.

The Tetley is looking to recruit a team of enthusiastic volunteers to work alongside our Programme Assistant
team for the lead up and duration of our upcoming exhibitions Jonathan Trayte and Stass Paraskos: Lovers &
Romances 22 July – 9 October 2016 as well as during the installation of the exhibitions between 10 – 22 July.

We are looking for a commitment of at least 1x 4hr volunteer shifts per week (including 30 min lunch break) for
the period of the exhibition. You will gain front of house experience from our experienced Programme Assistant
team, help the public interpret our exhibitions, collect feedback, assist with some basic administration as well as
support artists and The Tetley’s curatorial team with related activities and events.
