Heritage Open Days
SATURDAY 9 & SUNDAY 10 SEPTEMBER
Explore some of the historic aspects of The Tetley centre for contemporary art. Our building and the wider site around us was once the home of the Joshua Tetley’s Brewery, a key part of Leeds history for nearly 200 years.
For the Heritage Open Days, The Tetley provides an exciting opportunity for visitors to take part in a tour of the building giving insight into the former brewery site and allowing you to learn about the history of the company and the brewing process.
Saturday: 11.30am & 2.30pm
Sunday: 11.30am & 2.30pm.
Tours will last approximately 1 hour. Places are free but must be booked in advance as space is limited. To book, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Aside from this you can explore our exhibitions of contemporary art and our Bar and Kitchen. On the Saturday only there is also a free heritage themed Family Art Workshop. This is open to all but especially good for children aged 5 – 11 and you can drop in any time. Children must be accompanied at all times.
